The Salem Witch Trials is a event that happened in colonial Massachusetts in the year 1692 through 1693. A group of girls would blame other Puritan people for their mistakes and odd actions by accusing them of witchcraft. These girls had the right to choose between truth or lie and chose lies, but they didn't take responsibility for their actions, lies, or the lives of others. Because they valued their right of choice over their responsibility of truth, many lives were lost.
